Thomas L. Thomas II, known as Tom to his family and friends, passed away peacefully during the early hours of Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015. He is survived by his wife and son, Marie-Claude (nee Collin) and Sacha Thomas, both of Tulsa; Read Obituary
I put this on Facebook, but I am not sure who all saw it, so I post it here. "RIP Thomas Larkin Thomas II who has left this life. May he cross over the river and rest beneath the shade of the trees. This world was a better place with him in it, but God needed new angels. I am so sorry for Marie-Claude his wife, son Sacha and sister Gloria. My prayers for you, that your grief will be replaced with God's grace and understanding. Thomas' name was passed down in our family for generations, and he was the blessed one in my generation to receive it. There is at least one Thomas Larkin Thomas in every new generation. His pride in his name and family drove him to be the family genealogist. He defined our blood line so that we could all be proud of our origins. I loved you Thomas and will forever miss you until we meet again. Fair winds my Brother…."

Marie-Claude, Do you remember the New Years Eve that my Tom, your Tom and I spent most of the night in the ER? By the time we came home you had all the dishes done (Dinner for eight at our house) and we were all in amazement that your Tom slept in the lounge the entire time amidst gun shot, stabbing and arguing victims!Tom was a kind and generous person! We were very fortunate to have known him and your family. His death is truly a sad loss and he will be missed as he was loved ….by many! Love you! Donna & Tom
I know I only met Tom a few times, but I was given the impression that he was a good son, brother, husband and father. We shared a father that was very proud of him. I recall our dad handwriting long letters to Tom when he was based overseas in the Air Force. Tom gave me the impression of a man that loved to travel and take in the world. You were fortunate to have the time to travel together and you both brought up Sacha with great experiences of different cultures and languages. I never got the chance to thank Tom for sending a message to my son, Lucas who is stationed in Okinawa with the marines.
