Tommy Ray Ingle's Obituary
Tom Ray Ingle, a resident of Tulsa, passed away January 7, 2019 at the age of 78. He was born August 18, 1940 to Charles Houston Ingle and Betty Lou (Foreman) Ingle in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He served in the United States Air Force. Tom was an avid golfer and every Saturday he used to refer to himself as “A Bogey Golfer.” He was a very active church member at Southwood Baptist Church. He worked for and retired from The Corps of Engineers after 43 years and received many achievement awards while working. He was an avid amateur photographer and a member of the Tulsa Photography Club.He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Lou and Charles Houston Ingle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn Ingle; brother, Charles “Skip” Ingle; sons, Jeff Ingle, Terry Ingle and wife, Deborah, David Ingle and wife, Candy; grandaughter, Zoe Ingle and grandsons, Daniel and Damon Ingle; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Darryl Reed; nephew, Chuck Ingle; niece, Mona Swaffer Ingle and numerous cousins.Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Southwood Baptist Church in Tulsa with Pastor Darrin McKnight officiating.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force.
