I was an employee at Floral Have while Van was working there. He was such a pleasant man with a warming sense of humor. We really missed him when he retired.

A note for my sweet Julia -- Pepa loved you so...he called you Punkin and lit up every time you came over. He couldn't wait to see you crawl across his floor and then run across the living room. I have a picture of you climbing up in his hospital bed the day before he left this earth. Remind me to see it sometime....love you, sweet baby J.
