Wayne you will be missed by so many, as the daddy of my best friend Sheila I have many fond childhood memories of going to races at Tulsa fairgrounds. Your smile was incredible and will be missed. My latest funny thought of you is you having to wear a tie for the wedding and I asked you if it was too tight or felt ok, your reply was it would feel better if you could throw it out the door and it landed in the street!! No ties to wear in heaven wear your racing tees and ride free!

Wayne was a great mentor and just an all around great guy! I loved talking to Wayne about Cushman and Allstate scooters. Kev and I first met your dad at the Knoxville Nationals (IA) about 12 years ago. We became friends and enjoyed visiting about the racing world. I will miss the weekly articles that he sent to me as well as our Sunday calls to each other to "try and solve the problems with NASCAR". I also will miss his smile, our times at Knoxville, going out to eat, and the auctions that we attended together. Where do I begin? I've known Wayne ever since joining the CCOA back in 1986. Wayne and I have been friends ever since. His vast knowledge of the Cushman Allstste scooter was a valuable source for restorers everywhere. Wayne was instrumental for the reproduction of many rare parts for the Allstate scooters. Wayne will be sorely missed by collectors everywhere. My condolences go out to his many friends and family, my prayers are for comfort and healing during these days of grief. Farewell my friend.
