Wayne Hudson's Obituary
Wayne Hudson, born on January 7, 1940, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Perry and Laura (Hicks) Hudson. He passed from this life, July 25, 2014. Wayne worked in sales with the RC-Seven Up Company for 50 years. He was well known for his smile, his love for family, and his enjoyment of nascar racing and being a huge Tony Stewart fan.. Wayne was a member of the Cushman Club of America, and the Sprint Car Hall of Fame. Wayne is survived by his wife Bonnie Hudson, of the home; children, Sheila Ray and husband, Jimmy of Broken Arrow, Cyndi Brawley and husband Terry, of Tulsa, and David Hudson and wife Debbie of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Brittani Ray Harmon and husband Andrew of Tulsa, Travis Brawley of Tulsa, Tyler Brawley, of Tulsa, Ashley Hudson English and husband Brad of Broken Arrow, and Lindsey Hudson of Broken Arrow; great-grandchildren, Jace English, Dakota Harmon, Bridget English, and Bradley English; brother, Ed Hudson of California, nephews, Jerry Hudson of California and David Lee Hudson of California; niece, Sara Barteau; cousin, Ike Holt and wife, Michelle of Tulsa; sisters-in-law, Shirley Franks of Owasso, and Kathy Wilson and husband, Danny of Maine. Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Perry Hudson; mom, Laura Bryson; brothers, William Hudson and Leroy Hudson. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2014, 12:00 PM ~ 7:30 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 9:00 AM ~ 7:30 PM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room. Family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 5:30 PM~ 7:30 PM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room. The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014, 12:30 PM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.Memorial contributions in Wayne’s name and honor can be made to the American Cancer Society, 4110 S. 100th E Avenue, Grant Bldg.
