Weldon was a proud father and a loving husband and will be missed. I am thankful for all of the life lessons he taught me. I'm writing on behalf of my mother, Alice Brooks, longtime neigbor of Shirlleen and Weldon. My mother has mentioned on many occasions what a good person and hard worker Weldon was. 'Weldon and Shirlleen are the best neighbors,' was another of her regular mentions. Not a Christmas went by without Weldon walking a beautiful Christmas Tree cake over to my mom.
