Susie, Joel and family,
Wendy was the best friend I have ever had in my life. She was the most hilarious and fun person I have ever known. She has been there through all of the biggest milestones in my life. She literally saved my life in my twenties. I honestly do not know if I would be here today if it were not for her friendship. She always brought the fun. She was witty and always pushed the envelope. I am so sorry you all had to say goodbye this soon. Thank you for sharing her with me. Life is so precious. Until we meet again Wendy. My angel forever 😇
Well today was the day of days. There was a celebration of life for my daughter, Wendy. It was beautiful. Perfect in every way. Those that spoke - Rachel, Brady, Katie and Alex described her perfectly. But each from a different perspective which made it even more awesome. The minister, James Lambert captured it all. He too is 40 and could personally feel the sense of losing someone so young. I want to thank each of you for your kindness and caring. Thank you
When I was in Kindergarten & First Grade, I didn't like to read. With the help of Mrs. Turner that completely changed. My Mama had tried for months but for the entire time I was a little stuck up brat and wouldn't read. After meeting Mrs. Turner, my Mama got me some new books and I started to learn to read. Mrs. Turner and my Mama both taught me to read. I can't believe that Mrs. Turner is gone but I am glad and thankful to have known her in my life, making a special place for her.
Dear Mrs. Turner,
This is Hailey Tucker and I miss you. 7th Grade is hard but reading is the easiest thing for me to do now. I have top grades in my Book Club class and I wish you could have seen my semester report card (I got al A's). I want to go back in time top Kindergarten & First Grade so that I could have known you longer than four years, but hey, at least you saved Mommy from having a child that wouldn't read! My favorite memory of you is when I was in 5th Grade, we were reading "City of Ember" and you made it sound so dramatic. I loved listening to your voice when you would read to us. I often hear your voice in my Mama's voice when she reads to me. I still love to sing and draw, but reading is my favorite thing. For Christmas I got the "Wings of Fire" chapter books and I got the first three books read that same day. I miss you and I love you.
Sincerely,
Hailey Tucker
Susie, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Wendy's creative spirit and her passion for helping children. She will be missed by many, but her influence will be felt by more.

Mrs. Turner was my daughter's favorite 5th grade teacher, according to Sophia "favorite teacher ever". She will be missed by so many in the Riverfield community. Blessings to her family and friends.

Wendy was truly a light. A beautiful, hilarious, smart, strong, loving and wonderful person. Her spirit was strong and she will absolutely not ever be forgotten. You made quite the mark on this world Wendy. I got the pleasure of knowing her through when I started working with Karl and Susie in 2006…quickly realizing we were both true Leos and here to make a scene. We have and will remain birthday twins. ❤️
I want to thank each of you for sharing your thoughts, lighting a candle or sending flowers. It means so much to our family. Sharing your thoughts is something we will take forward with us. Thank you!
