Who was mom to us?
She was our rock, the one we could always call on no matter what.
She was ALWAYS “THERE” for us, right by our side at a moment’s notice:
• When our babies were born
• When I learned how to cook
• She discouraged me, early on, from clearing the dinner table before everyone was
gone. In this and many other actions she taught me to just sit, be still and relax.
Being with family was more important than the dishes getting done. Besides, she
always said, she would have time to do them later.
• She showed me, by her loving example, how to be a mother and a wife
• We cried so many tears together at Steven’s passing all the while recalling the many
good times we all shared
• She became an earthly “mom” to me and my three siblings after the all to early
passing of our mother, Lorraine
• And even thru our cancers she said “Come let me hold you tight, everything is going
to be alright, we will get thru this together”
We thank GOD that his plan allowed us to be “THERE” for her in her time of need.
She was a precious soul on this earth and now GOD now has a red-haired angle in heaven.
