Mr. Biggs quick wit, insight and leadership abilities made a big impression on me in my youth. He could take a science lesson, get the correct answer out of me and then use that answer to give me a good jab. He was a mental ninja.
Any time my wife and I saw him at the store or at a restaurant, he was always warm and jovial. He insisted we call him Bill, but I could never do it. The memories of getting swats for calling him Uncle Willie still haunt me.
He was a good example to us. He lived out his walk. Thanks Mr. Biggs!
