William Estle Biggs' Obituary
William Estle Biggs, 74, of Tulsa, passed away October 4, 2020. He was born April 1, 1946 in Man, West Virginia to Harley and Rama Biggs. A long time member of Tulsa Bible Church, Bill enjoyed gardening, fishing, coins and metal detecting, cheering the Cincinnati Reds and Sooner football, listening to Andy Williams and Christmas music, and studying the Bible. He was an excellent Science teacher and passionate coach, who couldn’t resist a good small town diner. Mr. Bill spent many summers serving at New Life Ranch, where his love for Creation, story telling, and counseling children were at their peak. The fame of his Simon Says games live on. His gentle, friendly, and well-humored spirit was apparent, and he was known by first name everywhere he frequented. His suspenders and thick, silvery-white hair were unmistakable. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Thomas and Harley Biggs of Tulsa, brother Ben Campbell of Florida and sister Peggy Flores of California. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Keri, his sons Bradley of Evanston, IL, and Benjamin of Tulsa, his brothers Jon of Broken Arrow, and Charley of Tulsa, along with many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, teacher, coach and camp counselor. He was a friend to many, and devoted follower of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bill’s sphere of influence is untold, and he will be dearly missed. Phil. 1:21.
