Years ago when I was a young girl Mother (Lila's sister) let me my sister spend the night at Lila and Mike's place when they were living in Coffeyville for a brief time. What I remember about our evening was Mike showing us his model train display he had made and how he had made these incredible structures out of balsa wood. It really impressed me as a little girl because I had never seen anything like that before. Also that evening we got to stay up late and watch a movie on TV. It was "The Bride of Frankenstein". That movie scared me… and to this day when I see that old black and white movie, and Frankenstein's bride with her wild white hair standing on end, I think of Mike!
