William Michael Blair's Obituary
William Michael (Mike) Blair was born January 28, 1941 in Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas to William Randolph and Jennie Marie (Bracken) Blair. He was raised in San Diego, California and Angola, Kansas. He attended Labette County Community High School in Altamont and graduated in 1958. William and Lila Jean Morgan were married October 28, 1961 in Angola, Kansas. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1962 and had two children, Debra Jean and David Michael Blair and four grandchildren, Matthew and Emily, Devin and Jacob. Mike enjoyed his life long hobbies of model airplanes and trains. He was a machinist and his daughter boasted that 'he could fix anything'. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in the hobby community. He is survived by daughter Debra Combs and son-in-law, Mark of Broken Arrow; two brothers Terry Blair of Broken Arrow and Kevin Blair of Chanute Kansas; four grandchildren, Corporal USMC Matthew Combs, Emily Combs, Jaclyn Devin Blair and Jacob Michael Blair and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lila, and son David Blair. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to fund ALS research; donations may be forwarded to MDA-ALS Research in memory of Mike & Lila Blair, 5840 South Memorial Drive, Suite # 307, Tulsa, OK 74145.
