William (Bill) J. Puroff was born April 21, 1934 and passed away on July 18, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 45 years, 6 children, Beth Cartwright, Renee Bevins, Kristy Childers, Wes Suppes, Debbie Rauner and Sarah Tronnier, their respective spouses, Bill, Rich, Richard, Marcia, Dick and Nathan, 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother Jerry Puroff (Elizabeth), sister-in-law, Euna Smith and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Pauline Puroff, son Brent Suppes, mother-in law, Opal Holland and brother-in-law, Larry Smith. Bill was in the tire business for 50 years and the well respected owner of Bill’s Tire Service for 32 years. He was an honest, hardworking man who was extremely proud of his family. He enjoyed playing his accordion with the Eastside Senior Band. He woke up each morning with a positive attitude and lived each day to the fullest, always willing to lend a helping hand. He lived, he gave, he loved, he laughed and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We wish to thank the families and staff at Autumn Leaves and Physician’s Choice Hospice for their support and care during his journey home. Memorial service will be held Friday, July 22, 11am, Floral Haven Rose Chapel. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to Alzheimer’s Association.
