I would like to thank the family for allowing the service to be broadcast. I appreciated the comments about Bill always helping others. When I was with him in the Pentagon, there were some personal things I struggled with from before my Air Force days. Several people, including Bill took me into an office and essentially told me to "pull my head out of my ass". He thought I had much to offer in this life and he was right. Because of him, I went on to get Bachelor and Master's degrees in computer science and enjoyed a 50-year career in applications development and consulting. All of my success in this life started with that meeting in a computer room office.
I will miss the phone calls we had to remember better times in our early lives. Bill Laignel was a lifetime friend.....

Brother Bill was a hero and idol to all of us. He taught me so much when I was growing that I could never express how important he was in my life.
