I have many fond memories of Bill Shouse. His focus was always on his Lord and he never ceased trying to introduce others to Him. Bill helped me find my way when I needed someone to walk with. Bill truly cared about others, over himself. This narcissistic world may never see his like again.
Bill was like a dad to me since he was my choir director in my adolescence. He encouraged my singing and went the extra miles to pick me up for practice. I loved him dearly and we had many conversations about the Lord. We even worshipped together at First Methodist for many years. I will miss his phone calls! He was a real encourager and he will be missed, but I am glad he has gone home to the Lord. Judy Stephenson
Bill was a Great man, I'm so glad I got a chance to know him. Back in 2013 I got the chance to produce a video that told his story. It's always been one of my favorite projects. He will be missed.
Doug and I moved across the street from Bill and Dorothy in1988. They loved on us and our kids for all these years! Their love of their family, church and TU was huge! They were so proud of their kids and grandkids and talked of them often! After Dorothy passed, Bill missed her dearly. We had many conversations about her and he was so excited for the day they would be together again. I know she was waiting for him when he arrived and wondered why it took him so long! I worked with Bill at Fell Brusso Bruton and Knowles (Engineering/Architecture firm). I came in 1977. I believe Bill was already there. I still remember his voice and laugh as he would tell stories (Bill had lots of stories). He was a good man and I know his was a life well lived. Bill, I'm sure God has a place for you in the choir.
