Bill and I played trombone together. We met in 8th grade but really became best friends our Freshman year at Lake Central HS. We took a 2 week trip to Florida in August 1972 before starting college. Over the years Bill and I saw each other frequently for our weddings, my bowling tournaments in Tulsa, and a couple of HS class reunions. We lost contact about 25 years ago until recently reconnecting on FB. Bill's sense of humor carried him through life and his love of the trombone never ended. RIP with Mr. Jordan and other band members!
