Our pledge

We’re here to give you care and comfort as we help guide you through the planning journey.

Our Story
We've learned a lot about caring for families over the years. We realize that we aren't just caring for a loved one, but the entire family. People come to us during their most difficult times, and we respond with kindness, understanding and expertise. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home as we work with them to create a memorable service in honor of a beautiful life.

Our beginnings
Our cemetery was officially rededicated as Floral Haven in 1952 on the grounds of the old Valhala Cemetery. With that rededication came several improvements, including the addition of a white marble statuary created specifically for Floral Haven in Italy.

The first of its kind
Known for its dignity, peace and serenity, Floral Haven is a full-service facility offering the one-stop convenience of an expansive funeral home, cemetery and on-site crematory — the first of its kind in Green Country.

Quality, sincerity and trust
Having provided exceptional service for more than 60 years, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built on quality, sincerity and trust, with services that celebrate the life of each individual and respect the wishes of every family.

Our team
We're members of the local community who have many years of experience caring for families from all backgrounds and all walks of life. Families know they can count on us to provide them the comfort they need when they need it most.

Walter Still
Managing Partner, Operations
In everything he does as Managing Partner of Operations, Walter seeks to serve each family as if it were his own, and to help create unique celebrations of life that bring honor to the deceased.
With more than 20 years of experience in the funeral services profession, Walter is a lifelong Tulsa resident and a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University.
He learned a servant’s heart at a very young age after his grandfather started John 3:16 Mission in downtown Tulsa. Carrying these lessons of his childhood into his adult life as a dedicated community servant, Walter serves on the board of the Broken Arrow Senior Center, the Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the Leadership Broken Arrow class of 2015, and is a long-time member of Easton Heights Baptist Church and the Church at Battle Creek.

Charles Browne
Managing Partner, Family Service
Having built a reputation for compassion and integrity in his 12 years of experience in the funeral services profession, Charles’ main role at Floral Haven is to oversee our family service teams to ensure that families receive the very best service before, during and after the loss of a loved one.
“The most rewarding part of my job is helping my team accomplish their goals,” Charles says.

Steve Taylor
Funeral Home and Cemetery Manager
Steve brings over 25 years of active experience in the funeral profession to his role at Floral Haven. He began his career in 1986 as an apprentice at the young age of 19. After one year of apprenticeship, Steve went on to attend and earn a diploma from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
After graduation, Steve began working with families at family-owned funeral homes in Mountain Home and Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 2004 he decided to take a break from funeral service. During that time, Steve realized something was missing and felt a deep calling to return to what truly fulfilled him, which was helping families get through one of the most difficult times of their lives.
In 2014 he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to return to funeral service and joined the Floral Haven team in July of 2018. Steve explains, "Floral Haven stands out as the best funeral home I have ever had the pleasure of being in service to families at. My love for helping families and making a positive impact on peoples' lives has allowed me to personally serve over 586 families at Floral Haven. Working for the largest funeral home in the state of Oklahoma gives me great pride in everything I do. We serve our families with passion, accountably, courage and transparency."

Michelle Speth
Cemetery and Funeral Home Office Manager
Michelle brings more than 20 years of administrative experience to her role at Floral Haven, where she manages the administrative team, provides support to the family services team, and works alongside the Managing Partner of Operations on various projects.
What Michelle enjoys most about her role is knowing she can make a difference for grieving families. “I love the opportunity to be part of an amazing team that gets to help families struggling through the loss of a loved one,” she says.
We illuminate paths to peace with personalized ceremonies and memorial tributes that honor your loved one.

What Families Are Saying
My experience participating in the Grief Recovery class has been life-changing. I’ve had an opportunity to learn how to treat my grief rather than just suffer from it. The. facilitators are wonderful… caring, empathetic and compassionate… thank you so much.

The entire staff at Floral Haven have been amazing and very appreciated. Everyone is kind and very helpful. Sahara Haubert and Keenan Nesvold were amazing. Sahara did an excellent write up for my mother's handout. She captured my mother's personality after talking with us for a short time. Keenan was kind and made us feel like were with friends.
