Kenneth (Ken) Eugene Robinson passed away peacefully on September 23, 2011. Born on January 3, 1923 in Watts, OK to Pearl Gregory and Esco Sylvanus Robinson, the third of six children. Ken worked for Southwestern Porcelain Steel for 35 years until he retired in 1985. Ken will always be remembered for his skills in the workshop where he made everything from childrenâ??s games to seasonal yard decorations. His famous marble boards are still a center of activity at family gatherings across the country. He will always be known as the man who could fix anything. During World War II Ken served his country through his efforts at the Brimmerton Shipyards in Seattle, Washington where he worked on the USS Missouri. Upon his return to Tulsa, he married Helen Chandler in 1949. For the following 50 years, together they served as stable pillars of the West Tulsa community. Ken is survived by Helen (91), son Steve Robinson, daughter Margaret Tarrant and her husband Glen ,Glenna Gillentine and her husband Andy, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27th at 12:30pm at Floral Haven Memorial Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, OK.
