Reginald T. Kikugawa, 87, died Sept. 25, 2012 at his home at his home in Tulsa. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Tulsa on Friday, Sept. 28th at 2pm. Reggie, aka HRH, was born May 25, 1925 in Wahiawa, Hawaii to Ayako and Shitoku Kikugawa. Reggie served in WWII in the Us Military Intelligence Service. In 1952 he graduated from the University of Ok with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering and in 1959 received his Masters in Civil Engineering. He was a registered professional engineer, retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers. He married Patricia Wilson in 1953 and together raised their family in Tulsa for 51 years. They were active members of First Baptist Church, Tulsa. Reggie is survived by 2 daughters and a son. Kina and Jerry Tebo, Tricia and John Crawford and Tad and Alicia Kikugawa. Seven grandchildren: Kristi, Michael and Tricia Tebo; David, Matthew and Katy Crawford; and Camila Kikugawa. He is also survived by 2 sister-in-laws, Elinor Kikugawa and Reiko Kikugawa and numerous nieces and nephews. His hobbies were numerous, including Hunting, photography, drawing, traveling and calligraphy. He was an avid collector, devoted Sooner fan, and a beloved JiJi (grandfather) The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many friends at Promenade Mall, McDonalds and Daylight Donuts. Your daily friendship meant so much to Daddy. We would also like to thank his many caregivers for their loving kindness in his final days.
